Step 1. Download and install

Step 2. Input commands to convert PRN/PXL/PC3/PCL print files to PDF
First, please open MS-DOS command prompt window in which you are able to input commands.
Then, in the opened MS-DOS command prompt window, please input your commands referring to the following command line template.
pcltool [options] <pcl-file> [<pdf-file>]
Where:
- pcltool: call the program
- [options]: set parameters
- <pcl-file>: specify the input file
- [<pdf-file >]: specify the output file
For instance,
pcltool.exe C:\in.pcl C:\out.pdf
This example is to convert a PCL file to a PDF document.
Step 3. Input commands to remove blank page(s) from the converted PDF
In order to delete blank page(s) from the converted PDF, you can use the option: -noempty which is used to delete empty pages from PDF file. You can refer to the following command line template to input the commands.
pcltool -noempty [<pdf-file>]
For example,
pcltool.exe -noempty “C:\test.pdf” C:\out.pdf
This example is to delete empty pages from the input PDF file.
After inputting the commands, please do remember to press the Enter button on the keyboard to run the commands.
Several seconds later, you can get the target PDF in the specified location.
